Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the WhizzardBase? The WhizzardBase is a service that I developed to help me and others play World of Warcraft better and level faster. One of the biggest frustrations in playing the game is finding out where all the quests are that you can do and where they’re located. One of the fastest ways to level, however, is to do all the quests in a given area to manage time efficiently. There are so many zones and quests to manage, that it only made sense to me to organize them into an automated solution. The WhizzardBase eases much of the pain of questing by showing you quests that are available in each zone. You can then see what other quests are in an area that you’re in or other areas that you might want to go. The WhizzardBase organizes your individual character’s questing information by using the custom MyQuests “Quest Tracking” feature. What is the MyQuests “Quest Tracking” feature? The MyQuests feature is designed to help you track of (1) quests that you’ve accepted or plan on doing, (2) quests you have completed, and (3) quests that you want to abandon or don’t want to see in the quest search results anymore. Anytime you perform a Quest Search and click on the ‘Track’ link, the quest will be added to your ‘MyQuests’ quest tracker. Click on the ‘Complete’ link, and the quest will be added to your ‘MyQuests-Completed’ quest tracker. Click on the ‘Hide’ button, and the quest will be added to your ‘MyQuests-Hidden’ quest tracker. You can then access and update your MyQuests, Completed Quests, and Hidden Quests any time by clicking their individual quest tracking links on the right-hand side after logging into the WhizzardBase. You must be a registed user to use the MyQuests feature. How do I use the WhizzardBase to help me level faster? The MyQuests quest tracking features enable you to plan out your leveling strategy. You can use it to search for quests you’ve already accepted in the game. Click ‘Track’ to begin tracking them. Then, do Quest Searches to see your tracked quests and what other quests are also in the same area. You can order the level difficulty of the quests in your Quest Search results. Start tracking other available quests that are at your level or a little lower (five or six levels) from the different zone. Use the MyQuests list to proceed with completing your tracked quests within your current zone or in other zones that have similar quest level difficulties. The choice is yours. Update your completed quests and continue planning your strategy for tracking and doing new quests. With the MyQuests “Quest Tracking” features, you’ll be able to organize and plan your own strategy to level faster and more efficiently. How can I help keep the WhizzardBase up-to-date? The WhizzardBase has a good amount of quest information right now, and I’m working constantly working to get more added and to improve functionality. It does take a lot of time to add the enhancements, however, so your help and patience is appreciated. If you have additions and corrections (e.g., armor/reward items, NPC locations, quest descriptions, etc.), please send them to support@whizzardbase.com. Additionally, one of the best ways to keep the WhizzardBase current is to participate in the WhizzardBase Quest Message Board! Many people need help and could benefit from other tips you may have for each individual quest. You can click on the Quest Names to begin adding and responding to topics about the quests. Additionally, you can click on the ‘Message Board’ link on the right hand side after logging in to see and respond to the most recent message postings. Thanks, and happy questing! |
